On March 26, SKAL club members gathered for another successful networking event, this time at the prestigious and Easter-decorated NH Collection Carlo IV hotel.

We were honored to be hosted by the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Martin Žídek, whose warm welcome set the tone for a memorable afternoon.

Unfortunately, we had to meet this time without the club president, Mr. Heinz Reigel. His role was proudly taken on by the newly appointed secretary of the club, Michaela Vaszi. ​​

The meeting began with a welcome drink in the former cigar lounge, creating the perfect atmosphere for informal networking and lively discussion. During this time, Mr. René Bos, CEO of Aegix, introduced the members in an engaging way to the current cybersecurity threats, especially in the hotel services segment, and how to effectively counter them.

The event concluded with a seasonal Easter lunch menu, enjoyed in great company and reflecting the hotel’s outstanding culinary standards.

This gathering once again highlighted the spirit of Skål – promoting friendship and business among tourism professionals while supporting sustainable tourism development.
